I have asked Klarna a series of questions around their policies and procedures and those of their debt collectors, both past and present, which I hope will provide more clarity. I'll keep you updated.
This campaign isn't just about Klarna, however, of the issues identified Klarna is the most egregious. They have set themselves apart in the market and in my view, at the expense of consumer protection. When collecting stories for the campaign, requests never pointed towards a specific BNPL provider yet the majority of stories received were from Klarna customers.
